I found it quite unnecessary to nerf activities in favor of others. If the idea behind Portal is for players to play however they want, Bungie is going down the wrong path. Activities need to be improved, not nerfed. If solo operations are more efficient, improve squad activities without making solo activities or high-level activities like Encore, Whisper, and Written in the Stars worse.
