is account merger possible?
Hi guys,
I recently recovered my old Steam account, which has my Destiny 2 progress linked to it. Unfortunately, the email tied to that Steam account was hacked for a long time, and I only just managed to recover access.
In the meantime, I created a new Steam account and purchased all the Destiny 2 DLCs there (excluding Edge of Fate). Now I would like to ask if there is any way to transfer or merge my Destiny 2 progress from my old Bungie/Steam account to my new Bungie/Steam account.
My goal is to keep my progress, characters, and items from the old account, but be able to play on my new Steam account where all of my purchased DLCs are located.
Could you please advise me if this is possible, or if there are any alternatives you recommend?

1 ReplyHey there, unfortunately there is no form of account merge whatsoever. Characters cannot ever be moved from one account to another, same for vault, inventory, progress. There is a share system called cross-save, but this only works between two different platforms, like Steam and Epic. I don't believe there's a way to family share a f2p game's DLC from one Steam account to another, that'd be the only other thing I could suggest.

1 ReplyHello there, Unfortunately, account progress is permanently bound to the platform account that created it. There is no way to move or merge progress or other save data.
