1. COMPLETE overhaul of the new tier system. I HIGHLY doubt you are going to remove something you just implemented, so here are the solutions;
ALL activities have the opportunity to drop tier 5 gear. The harder the activity, the higher the tier, and the better chance. ALL raid drops are tier five. Dungeons final chest drops up to two tier five gear pieces.
Gear can be upgraded to tier five using materials earned through gameplay. This is being implemented for Renegades for weapons, but I’d like to see it for armor as well.
Tier five armor gives a MUCH bigger boost than it currently does. Armor perks for each piece of gear as well.
2. Armor crafting. Once you’ve obtained an armor piece, you can craft it with the stats YOU want. This would be more expensive, but well worth it. Crafted armor can have memento shaders applied to it.
3. Mobility boost for everyone. I should be able to run, jump and even walk super fast. Regular sprint should feel like amplified sprint. Amplified sprint should be turbo mode.
4. Remove the power grind, by removing power levels all together. Bit controversial maybe, but power grind does nothing but add artificial game time. I’m not ACTUALLY getting anything done, I’m just leveling up so I can start doing activities, and that’s no fun AT ALL. Remove the numbers, all enemies everywhere are the same difficulty, unless you add modifiers, which I will get to, and endgame activities like raids having stronger enemies.
5. Activity modifiers. Let each individual player choose the modifiers THEY want. These modifiers can work everywhere. Say I want to do some patrols, but, it’s too easy. Give me a modifier that lessens my damage output so I have to fight a little harder. This is good for people who want a challenge. You can make the modifier as hard as possible, or just add a little extra oomph.
6. Activity obtainable gear. The majority of armor should be obtained in activities, NOT in Eververse. The coolest armor should be available WITHOUT having to pay for it. Style is a great aspect of the game, let’s not force people to pay to look cool.
7. Controversy here. But, allow us to use legendary ornaments on our exotics. It’s time. The PVP problem? Simple. You make it so the ornament doesn’t appear while in a PVP match, and then once you’re back in orbit, your ornament is right there where you left it.
8. Customizable ship interiors. It’s a Star Wars themed season, Star fighters and ships are important. We need to be able to customize the interior and turn it into a little personal social space. THIS is where eververse comes in. Here, using in game currency that you can earn through gameplay, you’ll be able to purchase furniture, decorations, wallpaper, paint and more. You’ll be able to
make your ship your own. Including a little pet area. Which leads into the next addition.
9. Companions. For so long now, people have asked for pets/companions. They wouldn’t do anything, they’d just follow you and give you buffs, depending on the companion you have. Available companions and their buffs would be;
War Beast Puppy- Your melee abilities recharge faster and deal more damage. The War Beast Puppy can be unlocked by killing 100 cabal with melee abilities.
Mini Shank- Your weapons reload faster and your fire rate is increased. The Mini Shank can be unlocked after killing 100 shanks.
Mini Harpy- Your grenade abilities recharge faster and grenade kills leave behind a pool of radiolaria. The Mini Harpy can be unlocked by killing 100 harpies with precision kills.
10. The return of D1 locations as explorable areas. Everyone was disappointed when we got The Dreadnought back, only to find it was only accessible in the Nether activity. Same goes for The Plaguelands. You have the assets, so bring these back as explorable locations for us to play around in.
11. All exotic weapons should be craft-able, so we can pick the non exotic perks ourselves.
12. Hire new voice actors, AND LET THE GUARDIAN SPEAK. We used to speak a fair amount in D1. And in later D2 we got to speak again. Then that went away. Bring it back. We’re the main character, we should speak for ourselves, not let Ghost speak for us.
13. New Hunter melee for Shadowhunter. We have ONE melee to choose from for Shadowhunter and it’s NOT all that. Give us a void knife that turns enemies into a black hole when we get a precision kill.
14. New Stasis and Strand supers for each class. We have three solar, arc and void for each class, we should have two more Stasis and Strand for each class.
15. SRL. It’s highly demanded. Eververse could EASILY play a part here in customizable sparrows and SRL themed ornaments. Have Marcus Ren as the vendor for it. Have it every other Friday.
16. Complete overhaul of PVP, getting rid of cheaters, matchmaking based on skill, more modes, not nerfing things into oblivion cause one person complains, more rewards, and more maps.
17. The ability to wear at least two exotics at once. Lots of exotics would pair so well that it’s almost CRIMINAL that we can’t wear two at a time. Would this be overpowered? Yes, but we are LITERALLY supposed to be space wizard godslayers. LET US BE OVERPOWERED. LET US HAVE FUN!
18. Shin Malphur storyline given an endgame. Maybe Shin goes rogue and starts killing guardians for using the darkness. Maybe the Praxic Order tasks us with tracking him down and taking him out, making us question whether the Praxic Order truly is the lawful order it says it is. Timothy Olyphant as Shin Malphur.
19. A story involving The Warlords. We’ve had lots of stories and lore with the Iron Lords, I’d like to see more of The Warlords, with Shaxx front and center. Let us fight beside him.
I really got carried away. Obviously these can’t ALL be implemented in time for Renegades. But these are some things I NEED to see from Destiny to keep me engaged. I don’t want this game to die. I want it to keep moving forward for years to come.
Please feel free to add your own ideas, and I’ll add them here.

If those things are not shown to be in Renegades before launch are you still going to buy it ? I’m not making any demands for Renegades. I’ll do what I did with Edge of Fate. Wait for release, have a look and see if I’m interested in playing. I wasn’t with EoF so haven’t played beyond that free, intro mission. -

If you or anyone else, pays full whack for renegades, you deserve everything you don't get. -
All I want for Renegade, which I already know paid for, is: A light saber that’s not locked behind a raid or dungeon A good story, and not the filler activities between grind. Something that really makes me want to play. A good replayability of the new content, not like EoF where once the story is over the planet is empty. Sieve is mid, side quest aren’t worth it as the loot sucks. So no one almost goes back there.

TLDR; A brand new game.
