If anyone can read this post, this the second time I’m raising awareness of my favorite exotic bow, Hierarchy of Needs, and its catalyst being bugged. Originally, you could trigger its buff by either deploying a Guidance Ring or with final blows with this weapon while the buff is active. And the best part is that you can alway reset the duration of the catalyst perk. But now since Edge of Fate, the catalyst can only activate after the Guidance Ring is deployed and not with every kill. The duration is capped at 5 seconds instead of 7s. You can’t even shoot seeking projectiles through a guidance ring at a partial draw. What you’re left with is a bow that is set for teamplay but the trade-off is the narrower window for DPS for the player with their initial Guidance Ring before having to deploy a new one. Not to mention, having to deploy a new one takes more set up now with the Bow’s inherently long draw time now because the buff cap, making it unreliable for harder difficulty. The text of the catalyst perk is now far off from the gameplay post-Edge of Fate.
Mods if you’re reading this post, please pass it along to Communications Team and the Weapons Sandbox Team. I would greatly appreciate this bow getting the attention it deserves.
