Exotic class item - Excision
Seen a lot of uproar about the duo mission. I personally haven’t played it yet but I do not have any objections to difficulty or having to LFG for activities.
However, there are people that simply don’t want to LFG and I believe the first completion of Excision each week should offer an exotic class item. Eventually this mission will stop being played and it’s such a great piece of content. I feel doing this allows solo players a way to get just one item per week as well as having this mission stay relevant. Thoughts?
UPDATE: I completed the mission and think it’s great. Really fun and I like that there is a 2 man activity, I don’t think it is too hard or that the timer is an issue. However, I do think there should still be an option for solo players to at least get one per week.

3 RepliesSo instead of doing the content your saying put it in an easy gimme mission. Not the solution. Especially when getting one clear in the mission isn't that hard just takes coordination and patience.

1 ReplyI agree. Even if it was a 2% chance for a drop it would be worth it. The people who like that mechanic heavy puzzle crap on a timer can keep on grinding the mission for that guarantee of a random roll.

3 RepliesThese dropping in Excision would be great for Bungie to do for everyone. Made a post yesterday as it being an option due to factors that go against many looking for another. Could even have it so if you do Dual Destiny, you have a better chance of it dropping from chests in Pale Heart compared to someone who hasn't done it. Just seeing so many elitist takes on all platforms (minus twitter) and braindead solutions that invalidates what the poster is saying or what anyone is saying.

1 ReplyI think this is brilliant idea, because there will be slower story players in weeks to come, or new folks that heard about game playing story 1st time, there will be people that hit that campaign step and will launch Excision 12 player mission and what's gonna happen? 1) a 20 minute load searching for other players 2) load into 2 people trying to do 12 man mission because no one is queueing for it anymore you solution could help solve two problems. Hopefully some one at bungie considers this.
