This is just sad..

Many games on launch fix their mistakes and try not to repeat them, Bungie unfortunately it’s not one of those companies when it comes to the game Destiny. I read a post from Bungie a few months ago on how they are bleeding crucible players (I’d say all players for that matter) and they’re not being replaced with new players. Launches like the final shape that is horribly failed is part of the reason why players don’t return, For example: people who don’t own the DLC yet, today was a great day for Bungie to capture those sales. Frankly, I would not be surprised if those people don’t buy the DLC due to this horrible launch experience. I get it on launch of the DLC many players hop on, but this has happened throughout many Destiny DLC’s launches and this goes back to why many games do no repeat their mistakes over again. I’m sure a stress test was done before the server was up and running again. My question is how thorough was the test? And the people that ran the test how much experience they have with networking? And if a test wasn’t conducted, shame on you Bungie. I really wanted this to be a good experience unfortunately I might be giving this game a long break again like I did a couple years back, and this may be my final straw. many of my friends left a couple years ago as well to different games. I’m sure the word of this launch will get to them. It will not change their mind on returning. The word on Horrible launches like this spreads fast in the gaming community/industry.

  • Cyberpunk had a horrible launch and turned into an amazing game. a slightly rocky start means nothing. It's how it goes on and finishes is what matters.
