It doesn't matter what anybody else thinks, for we'll all rate it as to whether it aligns with our own taste or not. So as a non-rating, all I can say is I only recognize maybe 4 names on there, but don't know anything by any of them.

Edited by Upperclass Bum: 5/16/2024 2:12:49 AMRating someone's taste is moronic. It's your taste, it's what you like, so who the hell am I to rate it? What I think about what you like is irrelevant. Furthermore, telling someone they have good taste is just being full of one's self in my opinion. You never see a person tell a someone they have a good taste when it doesn't align with what they like.

So... hip hop... Seems pretty limited. You should come out of that bubble you're in, but honestly, music is a subjective and amazing art form so there's nothing wrong with what you wrote 5/10- I prescribe more 'weird' 'out there' -blam!-. Even if you hate it, it exposes you to something new, not commercialized within an inch of its life... at worst it will increase the enjoyment you have for the music you already like.

I'm a heavy metal fan and despise Hip hop and rap, but whatever floats your boat I guess

Where’s my 2000’s prog metal? WHERE IS IT?!?

Edited by ranma8x8: 5/13/2024 2:41:39 PMMh. Needs more.. Post-hardcore!
Your taste is very similar to a bunch of my friends, you got all of the current rap/hip-hop bases covered. Personally, I look at what you/my friends listen to and I can't really connect w/ it. Idk what it is, maybe it's my own musical aspirations rebelling against the music that's very much "in" rn.

Also contrasting to all the old-folk in here I do recognize all of your artists listed.
I think I’ve heard of Kendrick Lamar. That’s the only one I recognise.
-
I mean all of these artists have multiple different sounds and vibes so I can’t really judge based off just the list, but I enjoy a lot of the same artists.
-
I’m not going to rate you’re taste—it’s your taste. I, for one, tend to listen to a combination of classical and anything ‘80s/90s British onwards into the 2000s with Muse.

this isn’t weird lmao i love tyler the creator he’s my number one artist

Edited by C0LONEL MUSTANG: 5/12/2024 12:38:52 AMHave you heard of Bladee or Xaviersobased? I listen to them quite a bit. I don't listen to Lil Yatchy on a regular basis but I have heard his last album "Let's Start Here". It seems to have a pretty big rock influence. Pretty groovy stuff. It reminded me a bit of Pink Floyd. Pretty experimental album I'd say. I think it's fantastic. Also I fw Carti's music heavy. But I haven't been listening to him much lately haha

I'd rate it 10 out of 10 because it's your musical taste and your enjoyment is all that matters. If you want to talk weird musical taste, you should listen to my playlist sometime.
