Triumph text "Onslaught Bosses rotate weekly," is a lie of omission.

Thread title. I found out today that the final Onslaught boss you face at round 50 is totally random [u]when playing on normal difficulty[/u]. There is no indication in-game of which boss you will face, which means that if you don't get the boss you need, then you've just wasted one hour of your life. Without predictability, there is no joy in chasing the BRAVE title. Playing for an hour only to find the wrong boss saps all enthusiasm I have for this mode. Plus, lots of us don't have the time in the day to pray to RNGsus. There needs to be consistency, reliability. Here's how it aught to be: Make it so that each map ends on a specific boss, on a weekly rotation, regardless of difficulty. New week? Each map rotates its final boss. Simple as that. Need the Ogre? Just choose the map with the Ogre boss for that week. etc. The fact this [i]isn't[/i] the way it works in the first place is mind-boggling. The gilded weapons is incentive enough to keep playing Onslaught. THAT'S a chase worth pursuing. This random boss insanity is not. (No, I will not touch legend difficulty. Ever. I don't care what you think about that. Take any endgame elitism and shove it.)

  • Couldn't agree more. I don't want to run the activity on Legend, there's simply no incentive besides an emblem I'll never use, and I'm missing a single boss. The ogre. Playing that mode for approximately an hour to reach wave 50 just to hear the audio cue of a DIFFERENT boss is soul-crushing. If there's a Triumph for defeating all 3 bosses and that Triumph is required for the title, it's inexcusable that they don't rotate. But we gotta pad those player stats somehow, right?
