I used to be a hardcore raider. I'm not anymore, but I'm watching people run pantheon and it is obviously made specifically for people who are ultra experienced in raiding..... those people already have all the loot.
So what is the point of the rewards in pantheon? When I first heard about the raid exotics and stuff I thought it might be a good catch up mechanic... but it's not made for people who aren't currently hardcore raiders... and it sounds like LFG groups are having a really hard time staying together after a wipe because people are expecting perfection. I had thought about trying it out since I haven't been a hardcore raider since kings fall 2.0 and it might be worth getting some of the gear in missing.... but I don't think I will because it sounds like a slog

Edited by ggpiazen: 5/2/2024 11:14:58 PMIt is rich get richer, which is extremely dumb. Hardcore players already have all the loot Pantheon gives, and new players can't play that. The idea is ok, but the system is dumb.

They made the reward structure for new lighters/returning players but then slapped the artificial difficulty (by basically making you a glass cannon almost with out the cannon), on it and made it to where the only rewarding thing is on the higher difficulty so pantheon is just a mystery to me Bungie refuses to make actually difficult things with out forcing you to do less and take more it’s a bit bs and I fun when that’s there only inclination of what difficulty is I want difficult encounter mechanics not the same mechanics but slapped you with 20 light underneath that’s just dumb and boring

It’s rough but doable with a good team. Problem is finding a good team and having them use a dang microphone. I did get a red border glaive I did not have yet

My guy has never heard of the concept of “fun” before…
