In-Game voice chat issues (PC)

I am unable to hear people in game, after tweaking every setting I could find in Windows 10. Tried disabling every other audio device, this allows my mic to go through but I still cant hear anyone. I tried selecting the device in Gamebar, Steam, Control Panel, and Sound Mixer with nothing working. I've tried a completely different pc with a different operating system, nada. I've even tried PS5 and still couldn't hear anyone. Only thing I can possibly think of is a privacy setting that disables incoming chats from Bungie/Destiny. It is worth mentioning I can see the microphone symbol appear as others are talking but no waves to let me know sound is being produced. Does anyone have any insight on this?

  • Having the exact same problem and it's been years, that's why I didn't raid a lot in D2 but I wanted to do Pantheon yesterday, hoping that after over a year I tried last time, with LFG in-game and all that, they might have fixed it but still the same bs... In the meantime I also switched PCs, so the hardware is different, I tried different Headsets (I have Astro A50 Gen 4) but the sound still doesn't come through, only my voice is heard from the others... This is ridiculous, just give an option to choose the sound devices in-game, pretty sure that would fix it if it isn't a network code issue...
