Idk how to explain to people that different leadership, therefore different teams, were responsible for these decisions. The people who said that we wouldn't get the guns back are no longer in charge of the game. Back when they were in charge, I'm sure they said it with full intention of keeping that promise. That's probably the only reason that the current team has held off on doing this for this long. But they know that the way they handled sunsetting was a mistake. They've known for years. That's why they stopped doing it after season of the chosen. It's just that at this point, with the state the game is about to be in, it no longer made sense to keep the promises of the old team. It is objectively a good change for the state of the game, and as much as it frustrates me that I deleted all those guns, the state of the game should come before kowtowing to whiny destiny players on social media.
