Bringing new players and retaining existing ones!

Feedback to increase intake of new players Hi Team/Devs Apologies in advance if this is not the right place to post this. I was unaware of where to post any feedback. Let me preface this by saying that I am not a veteran player, I started playing this game for about 5 months, courtesy of a good friend who has played this game before. I primarily played MOBA's before with my other 8+ friends. Since then, I have tried getting my other friends who play MOBA (especially DOTA) to try this game but have limited success mostly because of very little activities having more than 3 person firetam. Yes, there is Crucible/Gambit which we tried, but it's not new light friendly, and the matchmaking gets really weird when there are 2 people in the team who are not new lights. We go on one-sided losing streaks, and it's not fun for anyone Then there is RAID but again, it is not for a new light. The only thing they can do is Dares but the fun only lasts for 2-3 runs, and that's it. We get on discord with 5-6 people only to realize there is so little we can do together. Then we get into a scenario where we have to split up fireteams to play different activities, at which point there is no point in staying in the same server anymore. Sometimes, one person gets left out, and he stays for a bit then just leaves. Now, what am I suggesting here: I would love it if Destiny/Bungie didn't restrict fireteam size to 3 for landing into the zone. It would really help us guide our friends who we are trying to get into the game in a very healthy way. It's better if all of them are in the activity with us while we explain the mechanics, story, lore, and maps locations instead of in a 3 fireteam activity separately. There are a lot of activities in the game that are matchmade by randoms like Altar of Sorrows, Blind Well, Terminal Overload, public events, and patrols. These can be done instead with a fireteam of 6-8. Exploring planets, the city of Neumuna or searching for region chests could be a fun time for a fireteam of 6+ people and would get an easier time onboarding new players to the game. I would also suggest opening up campaigns for up to 6 players as an option. I think that would massively increase it's popularity and replaybility as more people can drop in/out at their leisure like a raid but with checkpoitlnts saves and would be more accessible to everyone. As large part of the gaming population are casuals, and this would definitely keep them hooked. That's just my 2 cents! - Your average Destiny player
