Need a way to remove on screen messages
Update: People are saying to type /clear will remove the on screen text chat.
On a PS5, why do I have to close out Destiny in order to remove the messages on my screen? Otherwise, I can have a message up there from someone I played with three days ago telling me GG every time I go to orbit or load up a new activity. It’s just annoying. Please give us away to clear on screen messages.

Forgot what button it is but it’s an ez fix. It’s on the dpad. Idk why it would pop up randomly all the time. Might wanna get a new control or open yours n clean it.

I’m on ps5 and I use on-screen keyboard to type in /clear and it works fine for me. No need to close game to clear in-game text chat.

Sounds like you're talking about text chat, type /clear and it'll clear the chat

I wish bungie would stop showing them right after activities when I’m mashing the button to close the stupid commendation screen and I end up closing the next week in destiny messages.

How about when a PVP match ends and you can shoot and move (these will count towards stats/bounties but not match) and you can't see because the middle of the screen > has the end match Victory/Defeat crap on it... like how hard could it be to either move that down.. or sychronize with actual end.. no play tester has ever mentioned that? C'mon. At least on this front it hasn't been a decline I have always had the lowest expectations from Bungo on user interface, guides, directions, menus.. rock-bottom.
