The game yesterday put me against almost the same people like 3 times in a row, even when I left the match, and queued up a few minutes later.
Like is there no other players besides those?

It's karma to you for leaving a match early. That's the sorest of sore loser behavior, even if they're people you already faced.

The matches are over, I leave the matchmaking to go to orbit and re-queue or just go to the tower before re queuing again, for the game to put me against the same people, over and over. That’s why I said “Is there no other players besides those?” Cause I can wait 5-10 after a match, go to the tower and re queue and STILL get placed against the same players 😂
