All it's done is remind me how awful the grind for stuff is when you're reliant on drops and a bad currency system.
This grind is fine for folks who have a lot of time to play, and absolutely awful for anyone who can only play 1-2 hours a night.

If you don't have a lot of time to play, then take the shiny drops you get from the weapon quests (perfectly serviceable perk combinations) and enjoy them. Why do you have to ruin the game for people who play more than you? Why are you entitled to have the game revolve around you when you play it the least?

Why are YOU so entitled to think the game should cater to you and not the masses? If you have 6+ hours a day to dedicate to playing a game, which is WAY above average, good for you. You cannot expect the average players who do not have that kind of time to change their real lives so you get the game YOU want. The harder mentality of Bungie this year has lead to disaster for the company. 45% miss in revenue 100+ devs laid off lead developer, let go Next expansion delayed Harder, longer grinds have NOT worked well for this game. It should be Fun and Engaging above all else. You like grind, which is OK, there is a Korean MMO waiting just for you.

You can literally attune the weapon you want giving it a 50% chance of dropping. That's world's apart from the hard long grinds that the game used to have. You're making a mountain out of a molehill as many tend to do these days. You're also clearly very much out of the loop on just how many people have lost interest in the games loot chase since crafting was introduced. Not gonna waste anymore time though, you're replying way too emotionally because you don't want any compromise. That's not how you cater to 2 polarized demographics. You find a middle ground. Into The Light's weapon attunement is the best progress there has been in finding that middleground.

But that leads me to say, how is the guy ruining the game by pointing out a negative aspect for people with less time? Plus nothing he said was entitled, he never asked or demanded a change for his benefit but instead pointed out an inconvenient truth for those with less time to spend playing games.

Edited by Muffincup: 4/21/2024 7:50:27 PMProblem with dedicated players is many or most of those people, no matter how they set it up will spend 6+ hours a day grinding and still complain about how bored they are after. Dedicated players ruin it for themselves being that dedicated. That's just what happens when you have all the time in the world to dedicate. Everything gets done and you run out of stuff to do. The average person has a busy enough life to only put in an hour or two a day, maybe. That's who activities should be set up to reasonably accompdate. Its common sense.

They’re cosmetics. One or two hours a day is enough to finish 1-2 full 50 runs. You will get a focused weapon to drop in that play session.
-
Not just cosmetic. The biggest draw is the random double perk drops. That's the real chase, and its rough.
-
1-2 hours a night is a good amount of time💀
-
If the session doesn't take an hour to finish, 1-2 hours a night isn't much if each session takes an hour
-
You could just farm tens and that takes 10 minutes
-
Just farming wave 10's is a Destiny grinder mindset, not someone who wants to go to 50 for rewards and for the fun of playing a game with escalating difficulty. Some people actually want to enjoy what they spend their time doing
-
So then said person can commit an hour of time…

Edited by Crayola of Death: 4/21/2024 8:53:21 PMYes, and? Onslaught takes around an hour to complete, so what's your point?
-
Are you having fun in playing onslaught for that hour or two? That's the important question.
