It’s not just an ornament as they come with extra perks and rolls however I think the drop rate is disappointing! Just my opinion

You have a point about the double perks but the extra chance of a godroll is nullified by the rarity of a shiny. This means that in practice you would probably get a non Shiny god roll rather than a shiny one.

That's correct. It's much smarter to go for the non shiny god rolls first instead of dumping tons of engrams and tokens into something that is super rare. I already got a decent Edge Transit with Envious and Explosive Light. One with Bait and Switch would be nice but I already have a Cataphract with that so it's just a nice to have. Now I move on to Mountaintop and then maybe Midnight Coup.

I was initially obsessed with the shiny ET with Cascade Point/EA in the same column but then I realised it's not worth it as I might miss out on other stuff. Once I (hopefully) got the rolls I want I will surely go back to farming it but it's an extra, not a priority.

That thing is so rare that it not even worth it imo unless you are doing a very specific challenge like a low man challenge. Too many nice new weapons to waste time on something so unlikely.

I’m a PvP player so I don’t care all that much about the raid itself- it’s fun ig but I don’t really have a nice community to learn/play with. I just wanted the ice and fire shotgun to nuke those annoying bubbles
