Why haven’t the pyramid ships destroyed the last city?
Just weird that they say the Witness is using his full arsenal outside the traveller yet the pyramids haven’t used their gravitational anomaly abilities at all like they did during the collapse. I mean one pyramid was able to take away an entire planet and we still have nothing that can dmg them. Feel like it’s a huge plot hole. And it’s weird because they haven’t retconned the pyramid abilities since it was talked about in the final shape collectors edition.

1 ReplyOn one hand it’s because this wasn’t supposed to exist at all, on the other it’s simply because the Witness is seeking to distract our forces. Initiating a prolonged siege on the Last City means that we have less resources available when we inevitably need to enter the portal. Wiping out the Last City would free up whatever forces remain when Osiris and Mara Sov manage to open our path through the portal. It’s a real shame that the only feats the Pyramids have engaged in is an energy beam, terraforming and nightmare generation. We should’ve seen their destructive might on Neomuna.
