Not making them craftable was the biggest L.
Bungie in witch queen..."we want to make most of D2 guns craftable"
And now we get very few actually craftable weapons.

This is a direct result of people complaining that crafting was "the worst thing to happen to the loot chase" People don't like it when everyone has a guaranteed means of getting good weapons it seems. Usually when those weapons just so happen to be the ones dominating in crucible it comes up actually.

Crafting was the best thing about D2 though. Instead of farming for 3 years for 1 roll in D1 i can now farm at most 5 weeks and get a roll i want.

Unfortunately for us the players giving feedback generally do so without regard for how it will actually affect the game, and just say stuff to complain about things.
