Yes, it makes perfect sense. Don't you guys realize that, if you could get every single loot on day one, the activity would die out quicker. So if someone likes onslaught, they are going to have a harder time finding players. Also why would you want to be able to get everything right away ? Don't you want another activity to play ?

    It's not going to last long anyway, alot of people probably won't play untill there weapon is available, so the timegate isn't helping anything

  • On the business side it does. It makes players coming back, keeping the player account up. Personally i like this, it gives you a reason to go back into the activity, it stops you from getting bored of just repeating it over and over again until you have all of the weapons and it gives you more time to do other things. Instead of doing, let's say 10 runs in a row, you only now need to do 2-3 runs a week. Activities feels different when you play them for the fun of it rather then just trying to complete it as fast as possible just to get the loot and repeat until you have them all.
