A statistic of "99%" is used as an expression when the assumption is that literally almost everyone agrees. By using it without any actual numbers to back it up it effectively means you decided you could speak for the community as a whole. Realistically, ppl likely don't really care that you don't want the time gate ppl care that you effectively attempted to speak for everyone. Especially when your "sample size" which im being generous in calling it that, is this forum and maybe ppl you talk to. That of course ignores this
3. The 99% consists of relevant players aka not contrarian forum members who spam emojis.
Which shows you're willing to make assumptions about ppls motivations and disregard evidence that doesn't support your assertion. The presentation was just poor in general and was likely to get the responses you did.

 • Stop taking things too literal, we all know what he means when he says "99%". Btw Bungie did in fact just change how the weapons would roll out so they're all out by the third week. Guess it was the vast majority.

Guess it was the vast majority.
The vast majority and 99% aren't the same thing. And no, we don't all know what he means. Both the wording of his statement and responses to others implied he was being serious or even literal. The things I've seen ppl legitimately try to argue here. This would not be the worst. The way he worded it was poor, hyperbolic, and involved numbers, which are objective representations of data, which he did not have. He worded it poorly end of. And I don't really care how they roll out. I was fine with the drop feed. I'll be fine with the full drop. Just doesn't matter to me
