Time Gated really isn't a problem, it's Quest throttling that will be a problem.
Think about it. I've gotten used to time gated content, but it's the kills on the quests that concerns me, and each time I get a kill it wasn't added to progress on the quest, sniper rifle precision kills %, sniper rifle 0/100. I keep getting precision shots then look only 3%, I'm more concerned for the quests, I care for how long it will take to complete the quests. Quest throttling is annoying. In order to get the weapons they are quested. edit To anyone you have to complete the quest first to unlock that weapon to drop from onslaught
