That’s one thing about Microsoft I find odd, why automatically give a refund over a delay ? At least give the person the option first, sounds like a huge pain in the butt.
Sony says nope we’re keeping your money sucker, you gotta work to get it back lol. But really for me it’s just easier, I get delays happen, I’d rather a game be delayed than be crap so I’m not gonna refund my preorder over it.

Way better than having to climb a mountain to get a refund from Sony. Microsoft respects their customers, it's even possible to cancel a pre-order until the previous 2 or 3 weeks before the launch date, no questions asked, you just go to your MS account, hit cancel and get refunded.

Tbh I’ve never had to get a refund from Sony so I have no clue what it’s like.

With bungie's track record, I don't think it'll be any better after delay

I remain hopeful simply because if you look at Destiny’s history Bungie usually does good work when their back is against the wall. Taken King, was after the backlash about House of wolves not having a raid with rumours it had been cut out to sell to us later. Forsaken, after D2 Vanilla, need I say more lol Witch Queen, After Beyond Lights sunsetting backlash and crappy stasis progression bounties lol So I’m hoping history repeats itself lol
