I entirely agree with the OP, but what has angered me even more is the fact that a lot of players, including myself, sweated blood, and tears for these pinnacle weapons, only to have them sunset/removed whatever, under the assumption that it was an unfair advantage for some of the community to have these overpowered, game changing weapons. Even though they had been legitimately earned.
Years later, they say hey, look how generous we are, letting you earn these iconic weapons while you wait for a very late DLC.
I would have been more than happy if they would let me max out the power of the originals that are rusting in my vault 🤬

so you are mad that they gave you a reason to play by earning those weapons, mad the weapons were left in the past for new weapons to give you a reason to play, and mad they reissued the weapons with new perks to again give you a reason to play.... hmmmm. seems like you having a reason to play makes you unhappy.

No my friend, not at all. I welcome all new content and new loot, but when I spent 2 whole seasons grinding my backside off for weapons which they took from me because they were overpowered,weapons which [i]they [/i]created and put into the game, only to tell me I have a limited amount of time to grind for them again, that feels like an almighty kick in the b***s. Just imagine. They give us new content, new maps and new weapons in a certain season. The following season, everything is removed, and we have to start over on the same maps and same game modes for the same loot. Only new players would find it interesting enough to carry on, but even they would get bored eventually. Where's the incentive for valued customers who have supported this game since the start? So, new content? Great. But let's have new areas, new maps, and brand new loot to go with it.

Hmm, seems like you're one of those "special" people that need everything explained to them in great detail. I am [i]not [/i]angry because they have given new content. They did take it from us, 1) because it was sunsetted. That meant that it could not be infused to high level so became pretty much useless, and 2) because of limited vault space, they were dismantled because it was pointless keeping them. I am angry but not for the reasons you say. But what gets on my nerves is people like you who jump into posts trying to defend something that is clearly a major talking point for the majority of players , who are dissatisfied with how they are constantly being ripped off by the company they have supported for 10 years. Look how many posts in this forum alone that are complaining. Look on any social media platform at the vast amount of players who are unhappy, the gaming channels, the content creators etc. For gods sake man, take your blinkers off and look around you. first, you stated you are mad, so not at all is a lie. second they took nothing from you, if you had it it was still there, so lies. they reissued them with new perks. limited time to obtain, so what? your time to play isn't accounted for in a business decision. so your just imagine scenario is pointless, because nothing has ever been taken from you to prompt such a thing. so in the end my original reply seems really spot on.
