The only thing i can't agree with that makes almost no sense at all on this post, is your first quote. Some people may enjoy being limited on what they could grind for. I see why because it can help them manage what they grind for, and when, BUT there is no reason to force that down everybody's throats, like bungie is. Why not give both crowds what they want? This is a free update, focused on 1- helping people catch up before final shape. 2- Attempting to earn "some" good will and trust back from the community. 3- giving us some content to play before final shape. 4- undoing some of the leftover damage caused by sunsetting/dcv. Besides, this is a FREE update. What does bungie have to lose? No offenss, but Please enlightten us on that if you'd like to sound agreeable. Sure everything's a matter of opinion, but your in the minority bud. Weither you've been playing this game for a long time or not, it's no secret that bungie doesn't make it hard to be wrong about something they do, contrary to the succes they have, and had. If your gonna deny or disagree with something, try not to let that something be a no brainer, but to you regardless. Most importantly, Thank you for reading this post.

  • Most decisions they make about things in the game can usually have multiple options, but they tend to choose 1 for the majority. That is no different in this case. Yes, they could've released it all at once for the people that wanted to get everything asap, but those aren't the majority. And you say I'm in the minority, I hope you not talking about these boards lol. If so, anything not negative about the game/bungie will always be in the minority on here, but as a whole, we are the minority compared to the total community of the game. Which they take into account when making decisions. Also, next time, try not to nicely insult lol.

  • I'm sorry that your insulted. It was not my intention. While im not saying im undeniably right, i would've been lying too you if my choice of words, wasn't what i chose. When i say your in the minority, it's not because of only looking at the bungie forums. I've scrolled through twitter, reddit, and several discord servers im apart of. Both public and private servers. Same with comments from some youtube videos. From my perspective, your perspective has always existed since timegating content first existed. While there may be lots of people who agree with you, I'd be lying to myself and you if i said that mindset, was shared by the majority of destiny players. Sometimes this community reminds me of high school. I mainly refer to how countless crowds of kids batch together with the ones they get along with. Barely seeing eye to eye with the others, be it big or small groups.

  • And all those places you looked, that's still the minority lol. What you're seeing is the vocal minority. The majority of people that play this game dont comment about it, they just play. Which is why bungie uses the info they have access to make whatever choices they make. From my perspective, there will always be different perspectives lol. I'm just stating the one I see. I'm not saying it's the only one, it's right, none of that. Just stating my opinion. The reason it reminds you of high school is cause it is lol. By that, I mean life is life. High school is just the first time most people are able to process 'life' and what they are experiencing, hence the phrase. With that said: I just state my opinion on here, sometimes people agree, sometimes they don't, I'm cool with either.

  • Glad too see while we don't agree with each other, we at least think the same.

  • If you think these mulling crybaby posts here are the majority, you are clueless. The staggered release is to keep engagement up throughout the entire time. The release of all at once would be filled with backlash from those who got what they wanted and have "nothing to do ".

  • While "keeping engagement up" may be the goal, all it has ever accomplished is to "delay the inevitable". You can't fix somebody playing the game too much. We lose players all too much with this. Yes us destiny players easily complain to much. Yes there have always been moments where both those who complain too much, and those who don't, play the game too much. The choice of how much and when we should play destiny, has never been bungie's to make. Yet they relentlessly do it anyways.

  • If people quit they quit, you can't fix that either. People will complain no matter what.
