That said, the items purchased in game using Silver can be used on any platform. So you can sign in to Destiny 2 using your Epic login, buy what you wanted from Eververse and then use the item(s) when you sign in to Steam.

Thats intentional, silver is platform locked and can only be used on the platform it was purchased on.
