release all guns —> playerbase spikes, everyone gets what they want in a week, playerbase falls and people complain bc of lack of content
release guns thru drip —> people complain they wont get their guns instantly, however playerbase will not spike then fall all at once, instead it will have a steadily increase for a short time with tiny spikes and falls each week
you see why they did what they did (the complaining happens either way)

Edited by nonchalantone: 3/28/2024 2:03:53 PMYou're copying and pasting this in every thread, yes?? We get it.....aah...NO, we don't. Why drip feed guns that WERE ALREADY obtained and earned by most of us? It's a ridiculous way to get people playing, and they know it. Just like sunsetting was stupid, so is this. It's a joke.

Copy pasting because every thread is saying the same thing 👍 Sunsetting, while upsetting, was necessary because the perks on old weapons would have dominated the game. If it wasn’t gonna be sunsetting they would have been power crept. The weapons are being rereleased with new perks, therefore not the same thing sunset

The playerbase wouldn't (hopefully, don't see why) complain about releasing all the guns at one, only Bungie would. They're obviously stat padding, we're all aware why they are doing it. It's just disrespectful to the playerbase's time and no one likes that.
