It's free and sunsetting was needed fir balancing and reducing power creep, it's prob gonna happen in some way again

Sunsetting was their solution at the time. I didn't like it, but I understand it. My Recluse is still in my vault, with 64K kills on it. There was no way I was going to stop using it unless they made me. So they did. Sunsetting did exactly what it was supposed to do: stop power creep, and make way for new generations of guns. I've pursued and gotten a Black Hammer, a Black Spindle, and a Whisper of the Worm. If Bungie re-issues an asset with updated perks to reflect the current sandbox, I am the one who decides if it is worth my time to pursue it. Nobody makes me. I'm pysched to see Recluse and other guns coming back.

But listen to what you said bro? They "made" you stop using it..... And THEN BRINGING IT BACK??? 😀 That doesn't rile you up...even a little?? I remember the grind for my Recluse, it was horrific. Then for them to say "we're taking away your toys".....just to reissue them again, SLOWLY?? So basically... They put you in time out! Along with the rest of us! Now we can have fun again?? Bruh..... (And btw, I understand you completely. No shade here, promise!)

Free? Your time is free? The money I spent and time I spent to get the ones I have I the vault were free? Lame excuse to except lazy development.

Are you paying for it? No. It's free. The time you choose to invest is your choice has no bearing on it being free. The past versions have nothing to do with it either.

Sunset was done purely to have players grind more in the game…. simple as that!! If it was due to power creep Bungie would not have released the same weapons, with the same perks to replace the same weapons that people already had & they would not have gone back on sunsetting!! Again, in theory it is a free activity - but in reality, it’s not. There is no such thing as “free” activities as they have all been paid by players, one way or another!! All that aside, I’m not completely bothered that weapon released is being staggered - I would have preferred that all were released at same time, then I can choose when I want to play knowing that I have plenty time to chase ma god rolls. But it is how it is, and long as the activity is boring and it’s always rewarding, I will play it for as long as I want too.

I get what your saying but all these weapons have different rolls, I suck at explaining but if you search up the reason for sunsetting I've seen many people put it in a good way, but to summarize. Sunsetting was done because at the time most other weapons that weren't meta had no use and were just taking up space in the game so to kinda reset the meta and get some new best guns in bungie sunset stuff, it's not exactly the same thing but still similar to how destiny 2 was a fresh start compared to destiny 1.

Why reissue instead of new weapons? This is just lazy recycling and desperate attempt to pull players back with nostalgia and all I see is more reason to me to not playing and more negative words if anyone ever asked me about destiny

It was mostly deemed needed because for power creep and there was mentioning of how we have too much weapons that don’t get used and they just take up space…. However, for myself and for many others it was viewed purely as, Bungie just wanting us to grind more and more!! We still have so much weapons in this game, and even after they sunset, there was still so much weapons in the game that wasn’t getting used and most like, never get used. Think the biggest problem was that Bungie sunset some really really good weapons, only to a) immediately bring them back into the game and b) gradually bring them back into the game over time. So it was as if the reasons that was given, was just lies. I don’t mind for this activity that they bringing back some auld weapons as honestly, I’m looking forward to farming them for some of the perks that they have. And because this is a filler activity, people shouldn’t have too much issues with it, there is no harm actually done but…. come the new DLC and new content - new weapons only please Bungie, no reprised, no blast fae the past please!!
