Because if they put out all the weapons, people will get them within a few days, then complain there’s no content.
They drip feed us, and we’ll complain obviously
There is no pleasing anyone.

Disagree, the drops rates for good rolls are so minimal that most people would rather have 3 weeks to grind for what they want instead of the one. Less chance to get what you want in one week compared to two.

Edited by Femboykel, Vex Milkaholic: 3/28/2024 2:31:51 PMThat’s not the truth. The real issue is that if they don’t drip feed us we’ll get the guns in a week, then leave again and bungie won’t keep a large enough playerbase around to financially support themselves
-
So you’re literally agreeing with me that if they gave us all the weapons, then everyone would get them quick and then complain and leave that there’s nothing to do?
-
Well no, the issue isn’t the people complaining though it’s the scummy business practice
-
I mean this is bungie we’re talking about, they’ve done this for a long time. Is it okay for them to do this? No. But should we be surprised that they’re doing this? No.
-
Edited by Femboykel, Vex Milkaholic: 3/30/2024 7:36:14 PMYeah but this time is like extra scummy as the only reason they are doing it is to push away an early sony acquisition that’d give us all a better game

Agree

There's already NO content now? You serious? Lol What difference would it make to release guns that were previously already in the game? And obtained by a lot of us already? Because they have different "perks"? Come on now.
-
Then people would just complain once they get them all that there’s no new content. This isn’t really a hard concept to grasp. This has happened before and will happen again.

3 weapons a week so by the third week we have access to them all or 2 per week so by week 4 we have them all. Increasing the amount per week would please the majority overall, drop rates will be bad for the alternate styles making it a massive grind along with the grind for superblack. The players who want more quickly are pleased and the ones who dont want to finish everything quickly will be pleased while only the outliers (those who love slow content and the overly impatient) would have any problems.
