They want to hold you hostage for all 2 months and it's actually laughable. They're becoming out of touch with how to make people want to play their game. Just show goodwill and people will play your damn game it's not rocket science. Stop timegating and trying to sneakily hold people hostage with these retention tactics. It doesn't work. It just creates negative reception.

You can also not play the game, no one is forcing you to more effective communication because bungie has said it themselves that they prefer negative loud feedback (like the clowns on this app’s forums) over silence and lack of players

They have a chance to get people excited before final shape and they've just blown it with the timegating. The 2nd stream had people hype I saw it. After the poor reception of the 1st stream. Timegating the loot is tone deaf to what will actually make people happy enough to hop on. You sound like no matter what criticism it is even it's warranted you're gonna say this "you can just not play the game". Robot mentality to have. Timegating is literally just a suits decision. It's not a decision for anyone else, not even the devs because the devs want people to be happy with what they've made. But that's not gonna happen when the current reception after it being very positive for the new loot is now "you're timegating the loot?!?!"
