Get everything the first week, come back the second to hunt for rolls and help others get their stuff, come back the third to have fun with some of the weapons we unlocked, etc. Also, this is just my experience, I like to grind hard when I have the time, and then play more casually without feeling like I HAVE to sign on one week just because of some time gated content that I couldn't enjoy when I had the time/want to do so. The constant sign on expectations burn me out way more than just binging when I want to. Makes me resent the game for making me come back time and time again, instead of letting me feel like I want to come back time and time again. There's no reason, other than Bungie trying to pad their login metrics, to have things behind a time gate like this. If it was something story gated, I might understand, but this is literally just, "We decided to give you these guns later because we really need people to keep logging in." You can't balance a game around grinders who will devour all the content in a day, so hamstringing it for the more casual but still active players is pointless.
