Increased Vault... the weapons look great, the stream was good.
I'm just going to lean into it.
Mountain Top looks broken. Luna's Howl is the Hawkmoon rework I wanted.
And are we going to be able to do our soft-cap leveling early?

2 RepliesThis community never ceases to amaze me. Bungie uses assets Community cries about reskins. Community constantly asks for old content back. Bungie brings back sunset weapons with grind. Community throws Bungie a parade. Make your minds up already.

I do think a few of the weapon choices are a bit off,it may of been a time limited choice as bringing back 12 weapons,re-doing their perks and testing them might of been too much.Plus we will have some craftable weapons in the exotic mission that would of needed the same treatment.

one thing that i have noticed... is that when Bungie "NERFs" a weapon/Perk its usually due to thte fact that there is going to be another perk/trait that is used in combo with that weapon that (usually) makes THAT weapon OP... it IF .. and i mean IF they have a perk that gives breach GL a massive buff.. or during that new onslaught mode the give a MASSIVE BUFF to kinetic weapons( i.e....the INSANE reload like the MACHINE GUN RELOAD BUFF during PLUNDER) ...when the nerf happens .. there is usually a BUFF in the pipeline im just wondering what Bungie has in store for these weapons...

25 Replieslol u think bringing back weapons the took away and said wouldn’t come back because over powered is a good thing. U think that one guy saying falling guillotine only being the second weapon with eger edge out side of 30th anniversary when last week we got slammer with it on it also on that point way to release two of the same weapon back to back so much imagination. Or should we talk how they think edge transit was a fan favourite how out of touch are these guys it was one of the most hated guns do to it was like the only heavy that would drop for months. I was a die hard fan of destiny and still love the idea of destiny but u can see the soul has left the building I hope it can turn around one day but sadly don’t think it will

4 RepliesI am looking forward to the update but I have some small criticism. I think that some of the choices of returning weapons aren't fitting or proper. The Sniper should have been Revoker I feel and not Succession. Perhaps the black armory sword instead of another falling guillotine but that one isn't as bad. Happy to see recluse return along with the others. My other main criticism is the FOMO tied to the limited edition variants. I think that could've been handled a little better while still making them special. It will be stressful because now I will want to only keep a weapon if its a godroll AND it's a Limited Edition version. Thank goodness we can target Farm the weapons because that right there sounds like a really tough grind. Also, by the sound of it we can't put shaders on the limited edition versions unless we take the ornament off. Kinda lame that we have to choose.

Why are 2 of the weapons from Raids which are still in the game, and already have pretty relevant perk pools? Furthermore, who decided that Succession and Forbearance are a part of this "forbidden arsenal" while they are still available, and that they are the most iconic of their archetypes? I'd argue that Martyr's Retribution is far more iconic for being the first of the Wave Frame archetype, and one of the best to date until Forbearance took its place with better add clear potential. And for Snipers, I can make a list of more iconic ones than Succession... [spoiler]Alone as a God, Silicon Neuroma, Frigid Jackal, Long Shadow, Tatara Gaze, Trophy Hunter, Longbow Synthesis, Black Hammer, Stillpiercer, Shadow of Veils/Devil's Dawn, LDR 5001, ect, ect.[/spoiler] That aside, I also don't know why they added a Guillotine reskin to the Nightfall, then added the reprised original with this update. I'm sure with Guillotine being much more readily available, it will nearly completely invalidate Slammer, especially since it will likely have a stronger overall perk pool. And Hammerhead coming back is cool, but why not reprise Delirium instead or as well? It's very clear that the showcased roll (Rampage, Killing Tally) is trying to emulate the original power Delirium's Killing Tally had, but I don't think HH will top Commemoration, even with this, and it'll probably just be used by people that really missed it. Meanwhile, Rapid-Fire LMGs are pretty lacking in good perk combos, especially the only 2 arc ones that exist, so I feel that 21% would've been nice to have too. The other weapons seem like pretty good reprisals though, but I really wish they would just refresh GoS loot already, because chasing 12 new guns in one activity, and probably craftable Outbreak and Whisper doesn't seem that interesting to me. I guess it will be a good source of loot for new players though

People complain about being “scammed”, beg for their content to be unvaulted… and then, when they have now finally begun to unvault parts of that content, immediate complaints. For no reason. See, people, this is why we can’t have nice things. The unfortunate truth.

Great stream. Liked everything they showed off (except super black… I want to be able to see who I’m shooting in PvP occasionally. And we all know every Hunter main is going to be rocking that on every armor piece….) Mountaintop looks to me more like a PvE weapon than PvP. The velocity on it with auto-loading on looked terrible and they confirmed it can’t 1-shot at all w/o a damage perk. Luna’s howl tho will likely be HC meta on controller for the foreseeable future. The precision frame is a ridiculous advantage… Edge Transit tho was the Star of the show for me. I’m 100% keeping a fancy roll. Forbearance and Supremacy are likely nerfed versions, but I feel it was a missed opportunity to not give us Dust Rock Blues and Erentil back…
