Advice for players complaining about trials

If you're not good enough to consistently be winning your 1v1's, don't take on 1v1's Stick to your teammates, do not play aggressively proactively, only if your teammates are clearly good and need you to play aggro with them, otherwise just play normally. These past few weekends I have witnessed tons of players either playing too aggressively against clearly better opponents and instantly dying, or playing too passively and not pushing with us when we are, costing us the round. Even if you are solo Q'ing, do not play as if you were alone. Learn to adapt to your random's playstyle, because you are relying on them to win. Also, for the love of God stop running into the strand clone. I have witnessed TONS of players actively run into my clone and get punished for wanting to ape with a shotgun in hand.

A lot of points I agree with. I’m in a clan that has a discord, in total there’s about 200 Destiny players there. Sometimes we hang out, people stream etc. Just about everyone I’ve watched solo queue into trials, lives on a flank. They see their team mate and they just repel like an opposing magnet. I am NOTHING SPECIAL in pvp, but I know that, so I move with whoever on my team is dying less and I take shots at whoever they are shooting. It works. These days I most play with one or two of my friends, my best friend and I had a really mean strategy for a while where we both used bows, moved together and shot the same targets. 2 body shots killed. If we shot the same dude at the same time he was dead in the blink of an eye. And it wasn’t even hard, really it required the most basic communication. So long as we were in he same area we would see the same people and shoot the same targets. Maybe that’s not fun, but is failing 5 flanks in a row really worth that lucky 6th flank where instead of dying you trade 1 for 1 and then complain in chat that your team is too heavy gg ff 15 Edit: the thing my buddy and I did actually works a lot better with pulse rifles. If you can duo queue with a friend try it out. If you both move together and take the same fights you will drop people in the blink of an eye before they even scope you.
