Are auto-rifles really so oppressive or is it a matter of how the changes to the PvP sandbox simply led to more people using them, as well as the addition of Passage of Persistence giving more players Adept Summoners? No sarcasm or snark, an honest question.

I expressly said the number of players isn't the problem. You can have just 1 guy just spraying constantly, and it makes the game not fun because you have to either just sit and wait or go somewhere else.

Yes, and I saw that (thank you for reiterating), but ARs aren't new to PvP which is why I asked if it's something that's getting brought to light on account of the number of players using them being on the rise due to the reasons I stated previously.

No, because, as I stated previously, you can have 1 person lock down a door or hallway just spraying and praying. So, even if not very many people use them, it would still happen.
