Nah, brah. Just get better.

Skill based matchmaking leans closer to a 50% win rate, does it not? So how exactly could someone consistently achieve 7 wins in a row? Not saying it isn’t possible, but if you think the whining about not reaching the lighthouse is bad now…

It would only make trials 1000x worse than it is now.

Edited by Golden: 3/17/2024 6:53:52 PMCard based would be better and properly team balancing would be nice
Just do it.
Play control solo and try to win 7 games in a row, and feed back to me. Guarantee you wont, as sbmm will make every game a sweatfast for you. Sbmm doesnt work for a card based system like trials. Its better suited for comp

Basic math class; just do it.

You would never go flawless and would barely play it..

Edited by A_mo: 3/18/2024 9:22:58 PMI'm sure that some weekends you'll basically feel like you're playing something equivalent to that. But permanent sbmm in that mode simply wouldn't work. Or it could technically "work" but it wouldn't be very competitive. Its also important that people understand how some people can go flawless 20 and 30 times in a weekend at the same time that the game will be conveyor belting lower skilled players to the lighthouse. There's consequences.

N _ Would you like to buy a vowel?

imagine asking to finish kill trials and make flawless super hard for ALL players

No. Your going to fight people better than you in trials. Abd at some skill levels, going flawless is just not possible. That’s how it was in d1 too. Practice. Experiment. Get better
-
No, add card based matchmaking and get rid of fireteam based matchmaking. The higher you get into your card, on average the harder the players you play.

Edited by Bore: 3/17/2024 6:20:49 PM
Just do it.
Card based match making. No team size matchmaking. SBMM would not work in trials.

I would love SBMM if we had dedicated servers. Unfortunately we don’t it’s absurd I know! It would literally just be a lag fest -
Agree, but too many whiners that think they're good because of fodder matches.
