Can we please get an alternate firing mode for Final Warning that uses the Exotic sidearm as a rapid-fire frame sidearm, and not as the charge-up mechanic only? It's a 450 rpm, and those are made to be laid on the trigger, but doing so always procs the exotic perk. Can we get a different way to fire it at its natural RPM, no charge up required? Maybe with its eventual catalyst?
Indeed, an alt fire mode like the navigator would solve this, no kills, just switch between the two modes at will.

 • That literally would not work. The exotic grants damage from CHARGING bursts. Think of Final Warning like Devils Ruin.

 •
That literally would not work. The exotic grants damage from CHARGING bursts. Think of Final Warning like Devils Ruin.
I took if for a test run intentionally using it more then the rest of my build, & while I will say it did impress me to a point that I'm going to use it more often, The gun itself lacks a polish most weapons of its type are known for, since they have most of thier "funky" modes set as an alt mode: Izanagi's Burden, Quicksilver Storm, The Navigator, Collective Obligation, the class glaives, not needing you to play with the trigger in what would feel like an unneeded way, but still have an alternate fire on demand, even most of the kill based alt exotics have this as well. The gun itself is powerful, but it feels clunky, even pre-charging around the corner only helps so much, along with the fact that at full charge you only unload half the total magazine, needing you to charge another salvo, something devils ruin remembered to clean up on, there is also a problem when locking on to more then 4 enemies at once, it already happened twice where a similar number of foes were standing close to each other when I locked on for a hipfire, but then the gun only tracked a portion of them. All in all, having a consistent full auto mode isn't going to get it nerfed or needing a rework in any way, I feel it would give it work out the last bit of jank, & make it shine like we both know it can, maybe a middle ground? either the hipfire alone, or both modes could use the entire magazine, so that there wouldn't be 3 ways to fire the same gun, & it could still be used in a more simple spray & pray manner for emergency, like most sidearms are used for.

 • Aside from a fix on lock on priority, Final Warning already shines as the strongest primary in the franchises history and it would be push the weapon even more over the top. What you call Jank I view as complexity so we're just gonna have to agree to disagree.

 • Adding a capability not taking it away

 • Exactly, and who knows how long/if we'll ever get another rapid-fire exotic sidearm. Real shame to waste the opportunity on a forced charge-time mechanic. Great value brand fusion rifle
