They didn't, they won't, & it's crazy that you thought that was a possibility.

It’s not crazy to think that Bungie may respond with a “we have taken on board some feedback around cheating and are exploring some alternative measures” or something to that affect. There is another PVP centric TWID tomorrow so you never know…

  •
It’s not crazy to think that Bungie may respond
Yes it is. Some youtuber making some outlandish offer isn't grounds for a response.

  • It’s not about the offer itself. It’s about what the offer stood for. Cheaters appear to be prevalent in PVP and he offers a possibly embarrassingly simple solution. To not respond is crazy in my eyes.

  • I’m a PS5 player and hardly a PVP main but without doubt, anyone you downs me in a 1v1 is cheating… (joking… :-)) Seriously though, it probably doesn’t affect me personally but I agree that cheating is unacceptable. If Bungie were to implement something like what was suggested, it would help those that are.

  •
To not respond is crazy in my eyes.
Companies ignoring asinine requests isn't crazy. They're not just one dedicated employee away from stopping cheaters https://www.pcgamer.com/why-is-it-so-hard-to-stop-cheating-in-videogames/

  • No they aren’t but it makes a statement. Even if they just checked the top 10% over a trials weekend. Identified all the players that had infinite heavy or a near perfect headshot sniper aim over hundreds of matches and banned those. Then, publicly showed who they banned (blanking out names or not, doesn’t bother me either way). That alone shows they can see it, it won’t be tolerated and are doing something about it. The sentiment within the PVP community could improve and those who left because of the cheating may return.

  •
No they aren’t but it makes a statement.
they already do ban waves & have sued multiple cheat makers but you're still making this post, so what good would addressing a ridiculous request by some guy do?
