You get less damage at the benefit of it not blocking teammates damage or being destroyed by teammates. Vortex should always be weaker in terms of damage than slova.

Weaker damage and most bosses just walk out if it before it’s done. I’d love it if the Slova didn’t block teammates shots, it’s not a feature of the super as no other one off supers do that and it’s damage isn’t high enough to warrant it

I don't think they could undo Slova blocking damage as you(and enemies) are meant to be able to destroy it and it has a physical presence. Vortex also isn't really meant for boss damage its meant more for clearing a large pack of mobs or dealing with a high tier enemy. If vortex did more damage than slova then slova wouldn't really have a reason to exist since Vortex would be clearing ads faster than it and also dealing more damage than slova. Honestly the balance between the 2 supers is fine as it is right now.

Idk why you’d really use either super for anything other than high value target damage is the super charged grenades do add clear just fine. Heck my Word of Crota does add clear better than my super does
