My thoughts exactly like "oh boy I hit them with my ranged melee! Better run over to them to use trench barrel on my SHOTGUN before time runs out 😃"

This change is in addition to how trench barrel already procs. This is more of a QOL of life change as many ranged melees still active up close so this is nothing but a good update. The only thing disappointing here is your failed logic to understand that.

No I got it big dog don't assume what you don't know, it doesn't change the fact that it's a lukewarm QOL change that's still disappointing and doesn't make me care about trench barrel now.

You clearly don’t since you believe the update is pointless. It’s a great buff since bonk hammer and incinerator snap would get in the way of trench barrel. If you are going to lie and change your argument, at least edit your original comment so everyone else won’t know.
