PVP TEAM NEED TO DO SOME WORK.
I understand that work for the final shape is being worked on but just alter some numbers and PvP will be happy for awhile.
Main issues:
Match making (not stacking the same number of fireteams on teams, solo players forced into duo matches, Lobby balancing issues)
Hunters using strand (overused/abused it’s an autopilot build)
Bows (too easy to sit back and wall hack Wish ender mainly)
Checkmate being forced on players (make it selectable)
Map rotation being to heavy on certain maps (add map voting it’s really not hard)
I think the PVP team are being lazy at the moment with communication. We asked for a PVP team so this wouldn’t happen anymore yet it is.
Don’t ruin PVE while balancing PVP as that is not what we want.
A lot of good work is being done and I really appreciate that but a lot of players aren’t happy with the lack of communication. Just go on twitter to update us on what is going to happen instead of waiting for the TWID.
We aren’t asking for full update tweets but pipeline info would be great.

For PvP, we're addressing current pain points:
🏹 Reduced Bow Aim Assist and damage vs. players
🎯 Reduced Wish-Ender Truesight uptime
👥 Reduced Threaded Specter uptime
🥐 Reduced Threadling damage and maked them easier to destroy

6 RepliesIf by the launch of final shape. There isn't a slight improvement towards the direction most pvp players are asking. Honestly, I'm just gonna give up on pvp. Never really cared for it on destiny. The only reason I even stepped in was to finish certain missions or chase after a certain gear set or weapon. After that, it can kiss my rear end. With all the nerfs, all the unnecessary changes, switching metas, not giving enough options. I love the gunplay, ability spam, and all that makes what destiny is. But the 2nd they nerf everything and make it into CoD, I'm out. There should be multiple options/modes for players. If you like gunplay only, then np, go into this mode. You like ability spam and pop 2 or 3 supers per match, koo, go to this other mode. I don't get why mess with pvp to the point where we get what we have now. Plus, all these cry babies, coming here after every loss match, to call Nerf on something that killed them, knowing damn well this is destiny not call of duty, that abilities and super are just a big part of destiny. Again if players want gunplay only there should be a mode to help with that. Instead of nerfing everything and making pvp, pretty much doo doos

4 RepliesWhen was the last time the game had 6v6 Checkmate? It should probably stick to having that as an option for checkmate for now and possibly for comp. But trials being all about Destiny should probably have most of the stuff in it. Maybe just nerf the things that make the mode so no one wants to play it? Ideas from 2018! I got a million of em! Especially since it can change. Some of the things people think they're supposed to see in all or most of their matches are precisely why this game has an unnatural unholy skill system. The map rotation is very old feeling. There are other maps and some people would like more arena style maps (whatever that would look like in this game) but sometimes it does start to feel like you've shot every shot on these maps a million times. Some type of semi regular PvP focused information would be cool. A lot of the problems are due to the horrid misinformation echo chamber that can exist around this game and people have grown very adept at the art of complaining over the years, so it would be nice if we could have a dedicated channel where we could be the first to know when PvP in this game gets turned off. Then back on. Then back off. Then back on.

8 RepliesWhere have you been ? There is no pvp team now ….it’s full steam on marathon and final shape . Bungie sacked the security team last year and a lot more staff got booted horribly. Pvp is what it is and ain’t changing anytime soon . Surprised at the number of people and the usuals as well still playing pvp in destiny 🤷🏼♂️

1 ReplyStrand malee is so much easier to use but gets you the kill faster than peregrines.. They grapple in and swipe you’re dead. Yet they nerf peregrines so you have 0.5 before they proc for the kill.

How silly But hey milk and dark wolf and all those other people who attack those who want MORE/BETTER from the franchise they love will keep supporting eververse. They love the idea of season pass price increase and bungie selling us dungeon keys… Now Sony is going to have full control of bungie and we all know how bad Sony is with live service. GG

2 RepliesI believe that people at Bungie work hard for their game and salary. I also think that people who complain about PvP should work harder to improve in PvP, learn from their mistakes, play against their opponents builds and so forth. That’s what at least I try to do.

5 RepliesDude don't take it seriously, many before you in the last decade have complained over and over again... and it seriously never got adressed. Bungie until recently only listened to their streamers. Our voices don't count and this community has always been toxic, to the great advantage of Bungie.
