Why not buff the Arc Fragment that gives DR instead as a mid-ground. The fragment could give: - increased DR when surrounded - increased DR when amplified Have them stack. Maybe even give them a small stat nerf if they need balancing. Arc are some of the squishier classes by design, but I don’t think this would be too bad

  • Doing that would risk making that particular Fragment a must-have. As we've seen in the past with the likes of Thread of Generation and Whisper of Hedrons, Bungie don't like it when one Fragment is so good that everyone has it in every build for that class.

  • To be fair, almost every class has PvE must-have fragments. Ember of torches, whisper of chains, echo of starvation, thread of generation, spark of resistance, spark of shock, ember of empyrean, ember of ashes, whisper of shards/torment, thread of warding.

  • Yeah, but i don’t really see them baking it into Amplified either… as that’s essentially free. Then maybe they can add it onto a weaker fragment like Amplitude (rapid defeats while amplified make an orb) or Volts (Finishers make you amplified) instead.

  • That’s a good idea, I’d guess bungie would probably have lower a stat though
