How about intrinsic target lock on all autos and machine guns?
Thunderlord go brrr.

Intrinsic target lock would be way too strong

HELL no, do you even realize how unbalanced that would make pvp? Other guardians would not have access for this. Therefore, you would have every auto be given built in damage increase. Trials would NOT be playable at all.
-
It could be locked in PvP after all luckypants do not provide a handcannon damage buff in PvP. Bungie is fully capable making a target lock style buff only work in PvE. Maybe something similar to luckypants, AR and MG damage increases for every shot hit until the magazine is reloaded.

They better

It would give the exotic use while not making titan more broken in PvP. Honestly i feel like its a solid buff (maybe cap the damage increase like luckypans given a reload could take ages to happen, just think of 4th times target lock MG with actium)

Edited by Gary Disciple of Content: 12/24/2023 9:02:32 PMHonestly in my opinion, it would be too broken. I would give it increased reload, swap speed and give it a 10% OS stack based on multi kills. Leave the pve stuff for pve only

I would say damage increase like luckypants but reset the increase on missed shots or upon reload with a total damage increase of 25 to 50% depending on the weapon type (MGs are 25% and ARs are 50%). The small buff would improve MGs to be a viable damage source again (especially when paired with 4th times target lock). By no means am i a titan main but the lack of diversity of the class for damage in the endgame is sad to see. Titan is basically just one-two punch melee or sword damage both options on strand (maybe pyrogale solar).

Trials is already unplayable. Who cares if PvP burns.
-
I think killing tally, that sets it apart from lucky pants single target damage role

Though they would have to reduce the damage modifier to make it so that it is not too OP. We want BRRR, but we need to not power creep.
