Because Stompees are busted. They’re still the most used Hunter exotic, which goes to show that they’re still fine. They were broken pre-nerf. Nobody in their right mind would put them back in that state without some sort of nerf. I think they’re in a pretty good state now. They provide unconditional movement buffs, and Hunter itself is still the top PvP class.

 • Forgetting about Transversive Steps and Dunemarchers giving unconditional movement buffs too with added quirks. Calm down, hit your shots.

 •
Forgetting about Transversive Steps and Dunemarchers giving unconditional movement buffs too with added quirks. Calm down, hit your shots.
T-Steps and Dunes require an activation. I.e. Melee for Dunes and Sprinting for a little while for T-Steps. With Shoulder Charge gutted, Dunes just lost pretty much the main way to proc it. As for T-Steps, the reload is kinda mid. It doesn’t even proc in the air which is a big blow for me. Considering Solar Warlock skates in the air most of the time, the sprint speed is not really all that good. Stompees require no activation for the jump height, and it allows for head bouncing, which is one of the easiest movement techs to proc. Plus, the jump height/speed is invaluable for Hunter jump due to the way it functions. Calm down, stop downplaying the best exotic in the game.
