TLDR:
Fireteam Finder has all guardian ranks as a filter for requirement in posting.
It can be unfair for new lights and players capable of reaching higher ranks who don't own the expansions required.
I think bungie should make weekly featured Raids/Dungeons free for that week for players who don't own these expansions and overall farmable anytime for players that already own the expansions or keys associated.

Bungie has listed guardian ranks as a filter requirement this isn't normally as large of an issue in Fireteam Finder for the app because of the character limitations in a post.
However, now that Guardians have the ability to be a lot more selective than before this could lead to some unfair lockouts for newer capable players who haven't paid for everything yet.
With Destiny 2 being listed as a free to play game it doesn't exactly feel free to play for newer players anywhere and while this is something well known throughout the community.
Fireteam Finder is bringing us closer to a point where it's not going to just affect player retention.
New lights who've matured into being more skilled players that are paywalled by certain activities in order to reach guardian ranks they're plenty skilled to achieve. Makes Destiny 2 feel more like a free trial than a true free to play experience for them.
I say all this because we've never had this level of in-game selection before and since we'll be seeing more centralized LFG's than ever before in-game.
We gotta consider the ramifications of having selective filtering to players who are not able to achieve certain guardian ranks due to pay walls.
If a system to let players who don't own all expansions is put in place everyone whose paid can get the advantage of farm anytime any week. While free to play Guardians can actually make progress on the week's available instead of being forced to pay or wait.
The most important thing here is time and giving us more flexibility with that means people can play anytime if they pay and wait if they can't.
This is a better solution than delivering players an ultimatum incentive of pay or never progress.
(Also small tid bit but I'm perfectly on-board with requirements being changed to help out I just don't see it as a realistic solution because skill as a player comes from further mechanic exposure)
Can this be implemented?

I disagree.
