when have GMs not been about plinking from a safe place until it's safe to progress to the next area? GMs are and have always been almost exclusively about finding a safe place, using mechanics to lock down a damage source, and/or manipulating spawns, in order to safely and methodically deal with mobs in a mode where a dreg is a huge problem. GMs aren't really "artificial difficulty". Things aren't spongy, they are deadly. Champions can be an annoying ammo sink sometimes, I guess... but to me champions are a really good litmus test for someone's skill. They are deletable. Even more than that, with the subclass reworks, there is more flexibility in GMs to go absolutely bonkers aggro from time to time, which I think is cool.

Then have the audacity to comment to challenge others reading level.😂

  • 100% true, for lazy players who just want completions without ever having to improve.

  • what nonsense are you talking about? The part where, in some parts of the GM you have to play it safe? for the part where I say, with the sub class reworks there opportunities to extend outside of that, and go aggro? like I'm really not understanding where you're coming from here, is it the part about the fact of the game mechanics or the part where I explicitly say, there is room to stretch outside of your comfort zone inside of GMs and expand your skill? Can you even read?

The fact that I get the most deaths in a gm an STILL have the most kills an orbs generate with two wish ender plinkers says it all.

if you're dying in gms you're not playing them terribly well. also, body count and score are meaningless in gms. completely meaningless. high score goes to the person who got the last shot on the most champs. highest body count goes to the person who does the least champ damage. clears, and the time it took to get the clear are all that really matter as far as gm stats. and in my original post that this dipshit is responding to, i mentioned that you can absolutely go aggro from time to time in gms these days. so, i guess you're both dipshits.

I rather potentially get the most deaths an bring it down to under 30 minutes if not 20 if I have like minded teammates.

it is crazy how poorly you read. so, in your mind i am taking the position that the only way to play gms is plinking at the back of the map? only this? no deviation? except that's nowhere near what i said. at all. ever. you're literally just arguing with yourself.

  • I stopped reading when you said that dregs are deadly. Maybe the ones with shotguns like devils lair? It’s very clear how things go, you do a gm for the first time, you are bad and you need to hide and play safe. Then you do more, develop new strategies, get better, go faster. The op and everyone who agrees with him are newer to GMs, they haven’t played enough to develop the play style to avoid incoming fire yet and they think GMs are boring because they always do the same thing to succeed.

  • ah, pedantic nitpicking, one of the hallmarks of brilliance. trash adds are dangerous in GMs. Go stand next to a GM dreg and do nothing. You die fast. Deadly. The absolute depths of stupidity we can plumb on these forums amazes me.

  • Just go do it, check my nf report. I know how much damage every ad does in gms, I have to. Calling people stupid or whatever without having checked those peoples stats beforehand, that’s why I check. I was going to pull the same stunt you are and I checked the guy before, just to see. He had soloed every gm. Being right and wrong is often in the eye of the beholder, but there can only be one truth. Do you know how easy it is to evade enemy fire if you are looking at them? It’s not hard, when your shields break, get behind cover. No need to always be hiding or stationary.

  • the evidence of pedantic nitpicking is right here, not in your stats. if the hill you want to die on here is "dregs can't kill you quickly in GMs" and that's the point you just need to make, go ahead.

  • Do YOU know how to read? No enemy can kill you if you are facing it and making an effort to avoid its fire, unless it’s a lightbearer in his super. The way you play will determine if you live or die, not how hard the enemy hits, that’s how I see things.
