I can't hear people in ingame voicechat and im not sure if they can hear me

So while raiding with some friends (and 3 randoms) in crota's end i found out that my mic didnt seem to work cause people didnt hear me say "take" when my chalice was full (i joined at the bridge encounter) and then i realised i could only hear the people i was in discord with and nobody in the ingame chat, i can see their icons pop up when they talk but i dont hear anything and im pretty sure they can't hear me either, does anybody know a fix for this cause i would like to raid more but this is kind of annoying to work around. my voice chat settings are set to: - Voice chat = on (default) - Push-To-Talk = on - Team voice channel = Automatic opt-in when solo and my chat volume is at 7 so that shouldnt be the issue either.

 • Have you made sure, in Windows Sound Settings, you have selected, a Microphone and that it is Enabled? Also check your Steam settings, weird I know but this fixed my issue. Go to Steam... Settings... Voice (4th from the bottom left hand list) Check your voice input device & your voice output device. Also are you using USB headphones/mic as sometimes, Windows likes to reset the ports, without telling us. Might need to exit Steam. Reboot Windows and see if it all works. Fingers crossed for you
