They should also reduce the spread of the stasis crystals on the slam and reduce the moving time needed to shatter nearby crystals. Reducing spread helps crystals do damage more consistently, increases ease of actually freezing enemies in PvE, and makes the attack somewhat viable in PvP so the attack isn’t just RNG. The shatter thing is mostly a personal preference. Was playing Behemoth yesterday and found the shattering ability of glacial quake to be really lackluster without Cryoclasm. This goes double for ad-control where targets are more spread out and your melee isn’t as effective of shattering things and you can’t rely on crystals auto-shattering like you can with bosses.

  • You know for a fact they'd be nerfing behemoth slam damage if the Crystal's could more consistently be placed together. Also, they should just make cryoclasm part of the statis shard aspect. Cryoclasm doesn't need to be an aspect all on it's own anymore cause it takes away far too much build potential for it.

Reducing the spread also means reducing the freeze radius, terrible idea. Also, you don’t need cryoclasm to slide break crystals while in super

  • But when you slam and 1/2 the enemies don’t freeze is it really reliable? How often are you running into a 75 degree spread of enemies? Making the Crystals closer together makes freeze more reliable and damage more effective You don’t need to slide to break it, but did you read my post? Literally said that the current one is slow and isn’t very good at covering large areas, meaning you can really shatter spread out enemies as the enemies are further apart than what shatters when you run. You also run into the problem of needing to be moving at full speed for a short time in order to break crystals which leads you to often get hung up on crystals or having to expend energy to melee through them. Again, did you actually read it?

  • The super has no problems freezing in PVE at all. Just use the melee on the targets you freeze? It shatters all nearby crystals when you do, especially when you have fissures on.

  • If you don’t move whatsoever and just spam the heavy attack it shatters, but what’s causing them to break is the 2nd Crystal instantly shattering when it spawns on top of the old. If you’re a centemeter off then it doesn’t shatter. The heavy attacks crystals can miss enemies in between crystals. Happened to me a bunch just yesterday. Started just using Howl aspect melees to freeze instead since they are in a straight line with no gaps. Literally all I’m calling for are 2 small buffs, one to fix the holes and one to make it easier to shatter. What exactly is the problem?

  • Valid points. Yeah one slot on my behemoth is locked to cryoclasm, otherwise like you said shattering is a problem. Reducing the crystal spread is a great idea, too! Those would all be buffs / QoL updates, that would not make it broken.
