marmot error, problem reading game content

Hello, since the last update I encounter marmot errorcodes during activities and my game crashes. My platform is Steam (also I'm not using steam beta) I tried every fix that is stated for this error code. I verified my game file, everything was alright, nothing missing. I reinstalled the game, but with no effect. and I decided to run "chkdsk" in the Windows command prompt, but it came up clear. I also visited the Destiny 2: pc known issues page for help. it states that i should delete a specific file in my Destiny 2 folder but this file is not there. Any advice would be highly appreciated.

  • Try uninstalling and reinstalling both Steam client and Destiny 2 on a different partition or disk (better); if after that you still get Marmot then there is probably some third-party app, driver or even virus, OR a HW problem (like a bad stick of RAM) that's actually corrupting your game files on the fly.
