as someone who did that multiple times i wouldnt recommend it way too much things to afterwards not worth it to spend hours and days or weeks to go back to where you were...just to change your gender or your haircut should be a normal feature in the menu like any other game

Nah they should focus on more important things in the game. Gender changing is completely pointless to add.

This is not a little indie studio. They have the money and ressources to do so. Thzy just do almost nothing for the game because they dont want to lol

Yeah but even putting on person a a "swap your gender" button is a waste of resources. Its a pointless change. If you wanna change you gotta make a new character.

Qol changes are never a waste of ressources. + it doesnt need that many ressources to do so. And once again..its not a little studio. They charge their dlcs like its triple A content even tough its not the case. + their seasons. They gain a ton of money from microtransactions. They have money from microsoft (even tough we know its for their future new failure of a game) A basic change wouldnt take so long for them since its basically just allowing access to the character customization screen. They just dont care. And since you are talking abour wasted ressources...take a look at the different "iron banner reworks" they do. Or the matchmaking manipulations they do every season. Or the useless nerfs/buffs etc... Their priorities are already all over the place

Nerfs and buffs are apart of a looter shooter, iron banner reworks are them spicing up the game mode, matchmaking updates are to make the game more competitive by changing how people are matched together. Changing your gender is not qol. Adding a full auto switch in the options is qol. Changing how you get synthweaves was a qol. Back when forges were a thing they changed the level required to play the seasonal content. That is qol. If you want to swap genders then deleted the character and be reborn as a brand new guardian

It’s qol for people who want it also if character customization didn’t matter it wouldn’t exist in the game. Also instead of just being gender change it would Be just as easy to allow full recustomization which would be qol for even more people

They already allow that. Make a new character. No need to waste resources on pointless additions.

But then you have to replay a lot of old content, which is what would make it a quality of life feature Can we have mass item deletion? Naw u can already delete one by one in game useless feature It’s ok to add stuff just to make the experience better it doesn’t have to be groundbreaking
