Exactly! In typical hunter fashion, it's an absolute [i]deluge[/i] of tears followed by "bUt pVe" knowing full well they don't even use their solar subclass in pve anymore.

  • We don't use it because we have two, count em, two mildly OK options for endgame. By endgame, I mean master and above, calibans slaps in legend. We have star eaters for better supers, but this takes a lot of time to get up, and a lot of orbs to take a vantage of the perk in the first place. Now if you're paired with an endgame orb generator, like ursa furiosa or strand titan, it's pretty good. But YAS was far the better, because it didn't require kills. Just damage. The rework makes it so you have to get kills with your abilities, which is nigh impossible to do without some setup. Another fix for both AW and YAS would be to make require guardian ability kills to function in pvp. They did something similar with some of the Stasis mods in WQ, why not now? The AW fix would be to make it still require class energy to activate, but have class energy go down when a Guardian shoots the shield.

    Yall have about 30 exotics to choose from and more than 2 of them are good in end game especially because hunters don't even need that much help. Y'all have so much intrinsic bullsht that turns the game into easy mode it's not even funny. As far as orbs go...they're so free that you can get dozens of them from just weapon kills alone. Then there's mods that generate orbs on grenade kills and melee kills, and it doesn't even need to be a powered melee. Another mod makes it so that using your class ability auto picks up orbs in a radius, shoot to loot. Y'all just be making excuses just to make excuses, yall have gotten so lazy. "Oh no I have to press 2 more buttons and wait 10 more seconds....oh the humanity it's too hard."

  • But not for Solar hunters specifically. Arc hunters have their shinobus for fun grenade spam, void hunters have orpheus rigs and omni's and graviton. Why can't solar hunters have a decent GM exotic specifically for them? Also, it is much harder to get orbs in endgame content, which is where the nerf hurts it.

  • But not Solar hunters. This is my point. In a GM, Calibans won't help a whole lot. Sure, we have loads of decent neutral exotics for gms. But the point I'm trying to make, is that now solar hunters won't have anything good SPECIFICALLY FOR THEM in gms
