* SPOILER WARNING: CURRENT SEASON ENDING: SPOILER WARNING* So, i just completed the "final mission" of the season, thinking that there would be something to bind all the things we did together for one big endgame. Sadly no, the reskinned heresey boss combined with OG zavala, hiding in the bubble from the missles after completing only one element based objective during the entire fight was a joke. I mean, why not use all three powers and use a relic on the boss to drop its immune shield to hurt it. Why not, instead of a bubble, picking up our own hive sword and battling it out. But no, an easy to do fight with no real emergency, (The boss didnt follow me or shoot me while i carried the crystals, leading to only adds which i slapped out of the way),ended with a cutscene that was just...silly, after the writing of the witch queen campaign, I'm left stupefied about little the story means anymore. With all that power, why not drag xivu before you, then cut their power off, so we can put them down in a climatic, calus (Before glitches) boss fight where we actually end something. So far, our guardian has only truly killed very little, Crota, oryx (Though who knows, he might come back once xivu is dead considering his body is also in storage, and imaru is in the tower) , Calus (We killed him 200+ times, doesnt really count), etc. . But no we just cut her off For those that recall forsaken, we literally had a fallen who was in prison until very recently, get his own throne world by killing 1 guardian, and not even finishing him off, just being in the presence of their death, did he somehow get a throne world. Mara, technically has a throne world, though not really used much. So banishing xivu from her, not even hearing anymore voice lines for them, means nothing. All they have to do is do something spectacular, like fight some ancient alien..or most likely, go hug the witness for a minute and they will have a new throne world and the cycle starts again. But no, simple cutscene with true story buired in lore books./ Then theirs the "Final-shapers", those that rise from the grave, every time there's an issue with destiny, to complain and refund their preorder and ask everyone to do the same to let bungie know that we have problems.. Mind you, this is my personal opinion, not some witch-hunt or calling out as it were, just venting over a crap story, and the flood of forum posts about final shape. Nothing will get fixed by stopping your preorders, all it will do, is make final shape look like a flop, which will decrease the earnings of employess and the company, to then be forced to layoff people, which will make destiny servers end all the sooner. What you ask, i would say, is in the extreme, if everyone cancelled their preorder and didnt buy the game at all, then bungie wouldnt be bungie anymore, they would have lost all the investment into final shape and force all future projects to be ended, or most likely, kill destiny as its a "Dead franchise" and work on other projects leaving us with nothing. If you want to make bungie know we mean business, Dont buy anything from eververse, ever again. (Brightdust is fine) The game will be the game either with the season pass or without it for final shape, but the income from the microtransactions taking a hit will incline bungie to focus more on the reasons why we aren't buying the stuff they worked on. Then when bungie does something positive, you buy something to show appreciation for hard work. I'm preparing to buy the fancy super callus shader when I get funds because of how the director acted when the hell twab was posted. Dont pay when they are doing bad, praise them with purchases when they are doing good. You dont use a closed hand all the time against someone, you have to be open and with a free palm and give them time to realize their mistake and become better for it.
